Following its regular meeting on July 21, the Clinton Community Schools Board held a special session to interview candidates and unanimously appointed Zak McNitt to fill the board seat vacated by Monica VanTuyle, who stepped down earlier this summer. McNitt brings to the board a strong background in higher education leadership, student services, and local volunteerism, making him a natural fit to continue the work of educational advocacy and community partnership that VanTuyle so deeply championed.
